Compare capacity and dimensions
Clearing an upstairs flat starts with the route downstairs, not just the size of the skip.
Tell us about the route from the flat to the skip, including any close (shared entrance) or stairs. The skip stays outside while you load it; the hire does not include carrying items downstairs.
Describe the entrance and the nearest suitable place for the skip. A lorry cannot deliver into a close.
Doorways and stair turns matter when moving old units or timber out of the flat.
Keep shared doors and escape routes open. Do not pile waste in the stairwell.

A parking space outside the building is not automatically a place where a skip can stay.
Falkirk town centre has a conservation area, and street layouts vary. Give us the exact address and proposed position rather than choosing a spot on arrival. Falkirk Council handles road skips and parking restrictions; the permission must cover the place and period you need.
The council asks for skip applications at least seven days before the delivery date.
Tell us about parking signs, yellow lines and loading areas so any separate suspension can be checked.
The lorry needs room to approach and leave without blocking the street.
Practical details for the job you are planning.
You load the hired skip yourself. Arrange any help with stairs separately and keep the shared entrance clear while the work is underway.
That depends on who owns the space and the restrictions there. Give us the address and bay details before booking; public-road placement needs council permission.
Tell us about both before choosing a size. Tiles add weight, and plasterboard needs its disposal arrangements agreed separately from an ordinary mixed load.
Tell us the floor, the route outside and whether the proposed skip position is on private land or the road.
Delivery availability, the hire period and collection are confirmed before you book.
